Refractory Polyarteritis Nodosa Successfully Treated with Infliximab

JAMAL AL-BISHRI, NICOLE le RICHE, and JANET E. POPE

ABSTRACT.

We describe a woman with severe polyarteritis nodosa (PAN) with visceral involvement unresponsive to multiple immunosuppressive drugs. Infliximab treatment was very effective in this case. Infliximab may potentially be used as an alternative agent for the treatment of patients with PAN refractory to conventional therapy. (J Rheumatol 2005;32:1371-3)
