Obtaining Permission to Reproduce/Adapt Journal of Rheumatology Figures or Tables

Permission Requests


Bulk orders. Large quantities of archival-quality paper reprints are available only through The Journal of Rheumatology Business Office. To obtain a price quotation please contact Domenica Lagana. Please indicate in your request the article title, volume/year, page numbers and the quantities required. Written author permission is required at the time of your order.

Please note that reprints of Journal articles must be true to the original and may not be altered in any way. No additional printing may be set onto a reprint. This includes, but is not limited to, placement of sponsorship identifiers, disclaimers, trademarks, logos, rubber stamping or stickers, etc.

Electronic format: Third party distribution of Journal articles in electronic format is not permitted.


Single PDF copies. Single PDF copies of articles published since January 2001 can be purchased from our website for US $10. We accept payment by VISA or MasterCard. Articles are for personal, non-commercial use only and are not for distribution. To purchase an article, visit our home page and select the Archives directory or the Current Issue to locate the table of contents of the article you wish. Select option PDF format and follow the prompts to purchase your article.


Author PDF copies. If you are the author of an article published since January 2001 and you wish to distribute PDF copies of your article please complete our order form available from http://www.jrheum.com/pdf-form-web.pdf Please E-mail or fax your order to The Journal Business Office (see above).


Permission Requests. Journal material (including abstracts) may not be reproduced or adapted without the prior express written permission from The Journal of Rheumatology. Requests for permission should indicate the bibliographic details of the material requested: figure or table number, and first author, title, year, volume, and page numbers of the article. Requests should also indicate the proposed use of the material.
