Introduction

First Mexican-Canadian Congress of Rheumatology

The First Mexican-Canadian Congress of Rheumatology is a unification of annual meetings of the Colegio Mexicano de Reumatologia and the Canadian Rheumatology Association, the theme being Opportunity for Interaction. This exciting event highlights the similarities and differences of rheumatology practice, research, and education in Mexico and Canada. There are many issues common to rheumatology and to the delivery of care in both our countries. This congress will foster future collaborations between Mexican and Canadian rheumatologists that will surely benefit patient care in both countries. We are proud to publish the abstracts of this memorable meeting in The Journal of Rheumatology.
