A disclosure statement should have been published with this report, as follows: Dr. Karumanchi is a co-inventor on multiple patents filed by Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center for the diagnosis and therapy of preeclampsia. He is a consultant to Beckman Coulter, Abbott Diagnostics, and Johnson & Johnson. We regret the error.
